Meadow at Colwich. The peaceful view over the meadow at Colwich where swallows dip and dive feeding low over the wild grass in the heat of a Summer’s afternoon. I wanted the painting to best represent the beauty of a moment that can be as fleeting as the impending storm clouds imply. We must love what we have before the chance is lost when it has gone. This painting is my emotional response to what I see. Imagine that you are walking in this painting. If you can feel the colour and light in this way then you can feel what I feel when I am painting.
